Chicago foodies were left wanting when West Town’s Mexique—the creative Mexican-French hybrid restaurant—whipped up their last tasty offering in May 2018. To the delight of his faithful followers, Chef Carlos Gaytán promised to return and has he ever.

On Wednesday, October 2, Chef Gaytan celebrated the grand opening of not one, but three eateries: Tzuco, Tales of Carlos Gaytán and Panango in the Gold Coast. Tzuco and Tales of Carlos Gaytán will offer patrons the best flavors and dining traditions of Mexico, infused with Chef Gaytán’s French haute cuisine techniques. Panango is a grab-and-go bakery featuring delicious Mexican sweetbreads.

Attending the celebratory event on behalf of Byline Bank was President and Chief Executive Officer Alberto Paracchini, Senior VP Pablo Becker, Vice President Corporate Development/Legal Ana Casanueva, Jr. Vice President and General Counsel Donald Gibson, and Vice President Private Banking Officer Joanna Zepeda.
