Our people who work here live in the community. We work and play here, and we support the area. That means helping you with banking services that fit your life, your business and your goals.
We’re all part of the Evanston story. Let’s help you write your next chapter.
The bank for small business.
“You need to work with a bank that realizes and values the fact that you are the fabric of the community, and they are as well.” said Jean Kroll, Founder and Owner of I Love Sweets Commercial Bakery in Evanston, Illinois.
Jean started her business at a very large bank. She realized that she didn’t know her banker’s name and she wasn’t getting personal service, so she moved her relationship to Byline Bank. She was looking for a better relationship and Byline delivered. “I’m filled with immense gratitude.”
In The Community
Byline Bank was proud to be the Presenting “Refuel” Sponsor of this year’s Evanston MashUp held at the beautiful event space, Palmhouse. MashUp, which is annually hosted by Evanston Chamber of Commerce, City of Evanston, and Northwestern University, is commonly known as the party of the year in Evanston celebrating many of the great things the community is known for. Now in its 11th year, MashUp is a festive evening of conversation and connections, great food, and music. It brings together people from all aspects—entrepreneurs to executives, artists to accountants and city leaders to CEOs. All of whom are proud to be associated with such an incredible community.
In The Community
“Potential is universal. Opportunity is not. Our job is to fill the gap.” Author Wes Moore said this speaking to a group of supporters for Youth & Opportunity United (Y.O.U.) in order to help them realize that youth have vastly different opportunities based on income, race, culture, gender identity and sexual orientation. These gaps in opportunity prevent many youth from realizing their fullest potential, and Y.O.U. is committed to closing this opportunity gap.
When we say Byline is a local bank invested in the community, we mean it. For Giving Tuesday, we’re building opportunity for Evanston’s youth by giving $5,000 to Youth & Opportunity United. When we come together, great things happen.
That’s Banking Done Right. That’s Byline.
