BONUS REQUIREMENTS to receive the Makers Checking cash bonus of up to $600 are:

Open a new Makers Checking account with a minimum of $500 online or in branch using the promo code, and
Maintain an average daily balance of $10,000 for 3 consecutive statement cycles (tracking begins during the 2nd statement cycle). The average daily account balance for the Account is calculated by adding the balance at the end of each calendar day in the statement period and dividing that sum by the total number of days within that statement period.
For each statement cycle (month) you maintain the average daily balance of $10,000, you will receive a $200 cash bonus, for up to $600 total.
Day 1 of the 3-month consecutive statement cycle period starts on the 2nd statement cycle, which begins the bonus tracking period. If you open your account on a day other than a Business Day, Day 1 is the next Business Day. Cash bonus increment of $200 is paid into the checking account on the last day of the statement cycle. You must maintain the average daily balance criteria each month to qualify for the cash bonus (i.e. if you meet the criteria in months 1 and 3, but not month 2, you will receive the cash bonus for months 1 and 3 only). It can take up to 125 days for the entire possible bonus amount of $600 to be paid.

Cash bonus may be reported to the IRS for tax purposes, and you are responsible for reporting to the IRS for tax purposes and any applicable taxes. Offer can be changed or canceled without notice at any time and cannot be combined with any other offer. If your balance is zero, we may close your account.
