Zelle® Makes Sending Money Digitally to Friends and Family Fast, Safe and Easy for More Than 100-Million Mobile Banking Consumers

Chicago, IL, September 23, 2019 – Byline Bank today announced that Zelle® is live in its mobile banking app. Embedded into the digital banking experience of Byline Bank, Zelle enables convenient person-to-person (P2P) payments for Byline’s mobile banking consumers.

“We’re excited to enhance our customer’s mobile banking experience by offering fast, safe and easy P2P payments as part of their existing mobile app,” said Megan Biggam, SVP Head of Retail Banking for Byline Bank. “As a community bank, we continue to look for ways to make banking better for our neighbors.”

A Convenient Way to Pay People You Know and Trust– Right From Byline Bank’s Mobile App
For more than 100-million consumers, Zelle is already available from the convenience of their mobile banking app, making digital payments a fast, safe and easy alternative to cash and checks. Zelle allows for funds to be sent from one bank account in the U.S. to another, using only a recipient’s email address or U.S. mobile number.  Funds are typically available within minutes when both parties are already enrolled with Zelle.1

Byline Bank’s previous solution, People Pay, will be replaced with Zelle to offer a larger network for P2P payments. Beginning today, Byline Bank customers can login to their existing Byline consumer mobile banking app, register with Zelle and begin sending and receiving money with friends and family.  For more information visit www.bylinebank.com/Zelle.
