Serving with authenticity is Stephen Ball’s mantra. As Head of Business Banking at Byline Bank, he had the opportunity to share his insights on building successful customer relationships with Karen Kimsey-Sward, host of the People Place Podcast and fellow member of the Small Business Advisory Council.
In working with companies of all sizes since 1994, Stephen’s goal has always been to utilize synergies and teamwork in assisting customers. His genuine approach to both banking and sales management have helped create a memorable experience, without the hard sales pitch.
According to Stephen: “People are people, whether they’re a business owner, a banker, a janitor—they can tell if we truly care as leaders. Sometimes this means diving in with them in the trenches or working hard on their behalf in the boardroom. But, either way, we always must be serving with authenticity.”
