We’re all in on Hot Topics

This spring, Byline continued its proud partnership with Whitney M. Young Magnet High School in Chicago’s West Loop by sponsoring its monthly “Hot Topics” talks. These active discussions, most-often led by Whitney Young principal Dr. Joyce Kenner, offer parents an opportunity to gain insights into various issues that their children may encounter, both as students and as teenagers. The “talks” are really interactive forums, and often include a guest speaker or expert on a particular topic.

One of the things that we believe makes Byline special is the real relationships we have been honored to build with the people in the neighborhoods where we live, work and play. We’ve been doing this for more than 100 years here in Chicago, and we intend to continue to take an active part in helping to develop the next generation of our city’s leaders.

As a school which is known for its tradition of academic excellence and ethnic and cultural diversity, Whitney Young correctly describes itself as a microcosm of the entire city, because its enrollment is drawn from students throughout Chicagoland (just like us Byliners). We’re proud to be able to contribute to the success of its students and its programs, and to add something positive to the lives of people who truly inspire us. It’s like we always say: we love this town.
