We Love This Town

On Saturday, December 7, Byline got in the ho-ho-holiday spirit with the Northfield Park District, Northfield Now!, the Village of Northfield, the Winnetka-Northfield Library District and the Winnetka-Northfield Chamber of Commerce as a sponsor of the Northfield Holiday Festival.

The festival, which is much loved by residents of the intersecting North Shore communities of Northfield, Winnetka, Glenview and beyond, was held at the Northfield Community Center and Willow Park. It offered something for everyone, including horse-drawn sleigh rides, performances from New Trier vocal students and the North Shore Music Institute, amongst others, crafts, games, and even a grilling station provided by local butcher Hofherr Meat Co.

Excitement fairly crackled in the air as little ones got well and truly into the holiday spirit. The afternoon’s festivities were capped off in multi-denominational style, with both menorah and tree-lighting ceremonies, leaving everyone feeling loved, included, and bathed in a festive seasonal glow.

At Byline, we especially love to participate in just this kind of opportunity: being a true part of the communities where we live, work and play is integral to who we are at Byline, and beloved events where we’re able to connect with our regular patrons and forge new local relationships speaks to exactly who and what we are. At this time of the year in particular, we’re well reminded that we truly are the luckiest of people to have the opportunity to serve our Chicagoland families…and from ours to yours, we wish you all the very happiest of holidays.

Byline has been a proud part of Chicagoland for over 100 years, and we take our responsibility to our neighborhoods very seriously. It’s an honor to be a trusted bank where we live and work, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to the people who keep each of our diverse communities strong and vibrant. We’re just where we want to be.
