Cheers to Wine on the Fox!

On Saturday and Sunday, May 4-5, Byline was honored to support the Village of Oswego’s premiere fundraiser, Wine on the Fox—a family-friendly, weekend-long festival celebrating the best of local, regional and even international wines. The Festival brings in around 6,000 visitors to the Village, and is a weekend-long party with something for absolutely everyone…over 21 or not.

Oswego’s own Fox Valley Winery is the force behind this annual weekend, and Byline was proud to support their efforts to engage and educate guests at the event. Special wine-education classes made even the newest convert to the grape sound like a seasoned sommelier by the end of the session while live entertainment by local bands and musicians kept the crowds rocking throughout the weekend.

Oswego is a growing community filled with active, young families who are drawn to the combination of Chicagoland access and village attitude. Our branch Byliners are just as proud to represent the area, and were kept busy all weekend, passing out merch and info to interested locals and visitors alike (although we hear that some were sorry to miss the Rose educational talk and would have been happy to bring their hard-earned learnings back to Byline for all our benefit. Thanks, guys!

Byline is proud to be a member of Chicago’s vibrant communities like Oswego, and to partner with local businesses and community leaders to bring events like this to the neighborhoods we serve. This year, Wine on the Fox was supported in large part by John Greene Realtor, who shares our aim to grow and support the Chicagoland area they represent. When we work together to support local communities, we all get the chance to show what we know to be true: we love this town.
