What is Byline Text Banking?
Byline Text Banking gives you access to your accounts via text (SMS) messages on your phone. It’s a fast, easy and secure way to look up account balances or recent account history by sending a text command to Byline’s text banking number. Can I use both text banking and mobile banking on my phone?
Yes, you can use both options from the same phone. To do so you will need to activate each option on your phone prior to use.
How do I activate text banking?
To activate text banking, you must log in to your Byline Bank online banking account. On your online banking customer dashboard, select “Customer Service” from the header options. On this page, find “Manage mobile banking settings” from the list of options. This page will allow you to enable a mobile device for mobile and/or text banking.
Is text banking supported on my phone?
Text banking will work on any text message (SMS) capable phone from one of our supported carriers. Please login and follow activation steps to see if your carrier is on our supported list.
Will I receive unsolicited text messages?
No. You will only receive messages when you specifically request them with one of the text banking commands or if you subscribe to mobile alerts.
