WAUKESHA, WIS. – Eric Manke, Senior Vice-President, Small Business Capital, received a Financial Services Champion Award from the Wisconsin District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration at the 2018 Wisconsin Small Business Awards ceremony.

“The Financial Services Champion Award is given to individuals who assist small businesses through advocacy to increase usefulness and availability of accounting or financial services,” said Eric Ness, Wisconsin SBA District Director. “Eric Manke is certainly deserving of this award for the compelling ways he has served the small business community.”

“This award represents Eric’s dedication to the Wisconsin small business community and to government guaranteed lending nationwide,” said Bruce Lammers, President of Small Business Capital. “I am impressed by his commitment and leadership over the years.”

Eric has had a 30-year career in small business lending and specializing in SBA and USDA lending, while leading a team that has won annual awards from both agencies for the past ten years. Eric has participated in the National Rural Lender’s roundtable in Washington DC, meeting annually with USDA representatives and legislators. He has also represented Byline Bank as an active member of NAGGL. Eric regularly volunteers his time in many capacities, as a member of WWBIC’s Loan Committee and as a volunteer educator for the Asset Builder’s Money Conference, which teaches low and moderate income youth and families about finances. He volunteers for Junior Achievement’s Biz Town, is on the Board of Directors for Corporate Casual, and is a judge for the Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan contest.
